This morning found me with my 7 year old daughter heartbroken in my arms. She was crying for a man she has never met but has always loved with all her heart, a man she has a connection to through her name. Before Jellybean was born her Uncle Perry was killed in a car accident and she was named after him as we wanted her to have a connection to him.
Today there were lots of questions about who Perry was, how he died, what he was like and if he believed in God. She cried in my arms for about a half an hour for the man that she loves with all her heart but hasn't met.
Kind of ironic since it is Family Day today.
